Didn’t have a chance to read all of our articles from this month? No biggie! Every month is a big month for cheerleading news but we rounded up a few of our top stories and topics that are must-reads. This month, we featured several articles featuring tips for team captains and tips for cheer parents. Along with press release announcements concerning the Superstars of the All Stars and their scholarship from Chasse Cheer, there was a lot of cheer news! Check out five things we talked about this month: It’s not easy being a captain. It’s important to have the right leadership skills. If times ever get tough or you need leadership inspiration, turn to the leaders of the past for advice with this infograph. Even though cheerleaders are on the sidelines or gym floor performing, cheer parents are in the stands cheering or helping the squad with fundraising or traveling. Summer is particularly a busy month for parents; they need a plan in place in order to survive the summer. Is cheerleading a sport? That question is being debated yet again, this time by physicians at the annual AMA conference. Throughout the month, we learned about the 10 individual Superstars of the All Stars who received scholarships from Chasse. Along with a scholarship, they’ll be receiving Chasse apparel, shoes, and accessories. Last month’s poll about cheer camp closed and the results are in.
